The health and safety of our employees and guests is our main priority. We have an excellent record forworkplace health and safety.

All team members working in our stores must complete Health Certificate and FoodSafety training, and demonstrate ongoing competency.

One of our company’s strengths is the way we develop our people and their skills at every level.We’ve trained hundreds of new team members from basic food handling skills to restaurant managerlevel and beyond. Our focus is on developing the people we have and reducing staff turnover, by:

We support trusted local suppliers and responsible industry practices in line with our ethical purchasingand procurement policies.

Community

We are working to replace plastic bags with recycled paper bags across all our stores. We source all packaging from sustainable locally and overseas suppliers.

One of our major waste products is cooking oil. All oil used by restaurants, is collected by specialcompany for recycling. Grease traps are installed in all our stores to prevent oil entering the waste watersystem.

We’re always looking to reduce our energy through the way we work, the technology we use and therestaurants and cafes we develop.

We’ve monitored energy by tracking sheets in our stores to reduce peak load, and encourage teammembers to turn off equipment when not in use.
